User Research in the Wild

Cancello, Italy Train Station // 5 May 2005 I've been going through old pictures lately, and I came across this great image from Italy. I had just arrived in Salerno, Italy to spend the summer gathering data for a research experiment I was working on. The study involved visual word recognition in Italian-English bilinguals. I was setting up to work in several locations around Salerno: IIASS (the International Institute for Advanced Scientific Studies), the cybernetics lab at the University of Salerno, and the psychology department at the Second University of Naples.
